ECC-4770 THICKENED E-COAT CLEANER:

  ECC-4770 is a thickened version of ECC-1910 SC. It is water based, consisting of selected organic components designed to provide effective removal of uncured electrostatic paint deposits. The ECC-4770 thick concentrated formula is particularly suited for vertical retention or whenever prolonged contact time with a surface is required.

Appearance: Clear to slightly cloudy, thick liquid
Specific Gravity: 1.01
pH: 2.0 - 3.0
Flash Point: None to boiling
Viscosity: 2,000 – 3,000 cps
 
E-coat cleaners, Thickened E-coat cleaner RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:

ECC-4770 is to be used as received. However, it may be thinned slightly with water for spray application. The ECC-4770 is applied by spraying, brushing, or rolling. It possesses excellent retention on vertical surfaces. The cleaner has a very low evaporation rate and thus can be left in contact with the electrostatic paint deposits for several hours. The ECC-4770 is then removed with water pressure.
