  • OVEN CLEANER 4676

OC-4676 is a water based alkaline oven cleaner designed to remove baked-on paint residues from the interior of drying ovens. OC-4676 contains a buffering agent, which allows it to be used on soft metals such as aluminum. The viscosity of OC-4676 has been adjusted to provide excellent vertical surface retention.

    RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:
OC-4676 can be sprayed or manually applied by brush. A uniform application will insure more consistent performance. The amount of material required, setting time, and the amount of mechanical agitation needed will depend upon the severity of the build-up and the plants' operational constraints. Rinsing of this product can be accomplished using either high or low-pressure water spray. In cases of severe build-up or extended exposure times, high-pressure water rinse will yield better results.

    PRODUCT ADVANTAGES:
    thick Water based
thick Safe to use on aluminum
thick Contains no nonyl phenol ethoxylates

  • OVEN CLEANER 4021

OC-4021 is a water based alkaline oven cleaner designed to remove baked-on paint residues from the interior of drying ovens. The viscosity of OC-4021 has been adjusted to provide excellent vertical surface retention.

    RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:
OC-4021 can be sprayed, as with a garden sprayer, or manually applied by brush. The amount of material required, setting time, and the amount of mechanical agitation needed will depend upon the severity of the build-up and the plants' operational constraints. Rinsing of this product can be accomplished using either high or low-pressure water spray. Since OC-4021 contains caustic, care must be taken to insure against attack on soft metal surfaces like aluminum, magnesium, or galvanized metals. When working on such substrates, the contact time after soil removal from the surface should be kept at a minimum.

    PRODUCT ADVANTAGES:
    thick Water base
thick Effective on E-Coat and Topcoat ovens
thick Thick viscosity for vertical retention

  • Oven Cleaner 2559

OC-2559 is a water base alkaline cleaner designed to remove baked-on paint residues from the interior of drying ovens. It is useful for cleaning both topcoat and E-coat ovens. OC-2559 can also be used as a general maintenance cleaner. In this application, OC-2559 is diluted with water to a level appropriate to effect satisfactory removal of the target soils.

    RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:
OC-2559 is used as supplied. It can be applied to oven walls by spraying, brushing, or wiping. As the OC-2559 contains caustic, care must be taken to avoid skin and eye contact. If spraying, the product should not be “misted” and respiratory protection provided.

The preferred method of application is foaming onto the surface using a foaming applicator. And since the OC-2559 contains caustic, care must be taken to insure against attack on soft metal surfaces like aluminum, magnesium, or galvanized metals. When working on such substrates, the contact time after soil removal from the surface should be kept at a minimum.

Once the soil is attacked, the surface should be thoroughly rinsed with water to remove all residues of the cleaner.

    PRODUCT ADVANTAGES:
    Water base
    Economical
    Widespread Utility
Effective on E-Coat and Topcoat ovens
